July 12, 2017. Coming off top-ten finishes for both drivers; Canada’s Best Racing Team (CBRT) is psyched for a return to action this weekend in round number five of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series on the streets of Toronto as the feature event Saturday afternoon at the Toronto Indy. CBRT is also excited to welcome and showcase new partners for the event.

Last weekend on the road course at Circuit ICAR both CBRT drivers recorded top-ten finishes. Simon Dion-Viens in his Bestbuy Pièces d’auto/Castrol Canada Dodge finished in 6th position. And Larry Jackson in the #8 CBRT/Piloti/BramKal Contractors Dodge climbed ten spots during the race to finish seventh.

Behind the wheel this weekend for CBRT will be Brett Taylor in the #8 Piloti/CBRT/New Home Listing Services Dodge and Larry Jackson with the #25 Wonder Bread/Dunright Foam Inc/B&B Decals Dodge.

The CBRT group has shown steady growth all season and that’s why General Manager Joey McColm is so excited for the busy middle section of the NASCAR season and these new partnerships.

“The team has really made some good strides this year. We started the year well with a top-ten finish from Brett Taylor and we’ve gotten better as a team every weekend out” said McColm. “It’s been a real steep learning curve at times with a lot of different drivers but the team has performed incredibly well. When you have a driver like Armani Williams running his first race ever in the series and he just misses a top-ten finish, that’s saying something”.

Heading into one of the biggest events of the year McColm and the CBRT group will be very busy but also very focused on what they need to accomplish on the track.

“We’re going to be all over Exhibition Place this weekend and showcasing our new partners as well as existing ones. We’ll have a huge presence with Piloti on site. Our team was chosen to be part of the Indy’s Rookie Racers program so we’ll have lots of young race fans joining our team over the weekend. Plus we want to build on the great results we’ve had so far, there’s still room for improvement” said McColm.

The CBRT drivers will hit the track for practice and qualifying on Friday and the green flag waves on the 100km race Saturday afternoon at 3:45PM ET.

Be sure to check out the new CBRT website www.cbrteams.com and there are still openings for interested drivers to join the 2017 season. Find out more through the website. The NASCAR Pinty’s Series consists of 13 races on ovals and street courses across Canada.
